Founder & President

Cindy Hofen

Cindy founded Managing Moves & More in 2009 after helping her mother-in-law downsize and move. She realized that helping people through this stressful process was her calling and that there was an enormous need for the services she provided. To date, MM&M has helped over 2,000 clients. MM&M’s biggest source of business comes from referrals from happy clients, realtors, and senior communities, which Cindy takes great pride in.

Michelle’s background is as an event planner. She enjoys coordinating and organizing with attention to detail. She has moved many times and so feels empathy for her clients and likes to put them at ease with the challenges of downsizing and moving. She is happy to have found a great team to be a part of with MM&M.

Crystal Project Manager


Crystal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a music minor.  Her experience with project management, attention to detail and strong interest in helping people is what drew her to work with MM&M.  She feels that every client and project is unique and deserves her full effort.

Cheryl Customer Support


Cheryl feels very lucky to work for a company that treats every customer with respect and understanding. It is a very rewarding job helping people feel more comfortable and organized with their life.

Lynn Business Owner


Before joining MM&M in 2017, Lynn was a wardrobe stylist and a small business owner.  Prior to that, she was a product developer in legal education. She is a long-time resident of Southern Marin where she hikes, bikes and walks on the many spectacular nature trails. At MM&M, she enjoys helping clients down-size, right-size and organize.  

Anna Interior Design


Anna has a background in interior design and she loves gardening. One of her favorite things about Managing Moves & More is helping our clients set up their new home.

Margie Design Manager


Margie loves beauty and order and delights in bringing these elements together through her design and organization skills. She has a knack for connecting with people and values their stories. She knows the importance of honoring a person's past while focusing on the present to tactfully and compassionately facilitate moving forward to the next chapter.

Nelly Design Expert


Nelly is an artist by training and has a passion for setting up a beautiful and functional new home.

Maheen’s background is in Applied Mathematics as well as Interior Design and Architecture. She is passionate about design and organization of spaces. She believes spaces need to reflect people who live there. Having helped her own parents when they downsized and moved across continents, she understands that during such transitions people need the best care possible. She is happy to be part of MM&M team and hopes to help people as they navigate through this multistage process



Nicola joined MM&M after we moved her mother, an art consultant, twice!  Her background in wilderness logistics, event planning & college admission counselling equip her to connect with her clients and get them successfully moved and settled, right down to hanging up the art.

Jim Moves Expert


Jim really enjoys working with (and is a big fan of) the professional and dedicated team that makes up MM&M.  Having experienced many moves & downsizing in his own life, and having a passion for organization & logistics, he finds helping clients when they are moving and/or downsizing to be very rewarding.”

Gayle Organization Expert


Gayle has always loved organization and helping others.  Working at MMM allows her to combine these two. Helping families during a stressful move and/or creating a new residence that feels like home immediately is very rewarding.  One of Gayle's favorite challenges is helping individuals get control back into their lives with organization.

Emily Business Manager


Emily joined Managing Moves & More in 2016. She wears many hats at MMM from handling all things related to new contracts and billing to helping hire new members of our Dream Team. Prior to working for MMM she was a stay at home mom and she worked in marketing. In her free time she enjoys walking her dog, spending time with her family, and decluttering her own home. 

Debra Service Manager


Debra was so impressed by the exceptional service Managing Moves and More provided during her mother’s two separate moves, she decided to join the team! Debra feels blessed to be part of a dedicated team that offers such a valuable service.

Rachel Relationships Representative


Rachel loves meeting new people and finds her work at Managing Moves fulfilling and rewarding. She considers it a privilege to help her clients navigate and ease the burden of moving. She also loves organization and the satisfaction of seeing a job through to completion.

Natalie Organizations


Natalie loves making order out of complexity.

Karin loves nature, gardening, walking and biking as well as the arts and painting. She is a natural homemaker and has always gravitated towards, organizing, staging and decorating. She enjoys working with older adults and understands how to make a compassionate difference while maintaining a focus on each individual’s wellbeing.
